| Bonjour, ca va? Pronounced: Bon-zhur sa va? The zh bit is a bit difficult to explain how you actually say it. It's like a sh I suppose but with a z, not an s. And the on is nasalised. It literally means "Good day, is it going?" | |

| The French wouldn't really say that... I'll give it a go though... Bonjour Monsieur would be the closest. Monsieur is pronounced with a silent n and then say it opening your mouth to make a small o shape with your lips. I also do more complex French and can say things like "On a déja installé des pistes cyclables et pour les bus et aussi, on a planté des abres et des fleurs pour que la ville soit plus jolie," which means "They have already installed cycle and bus lanes and also, they have planted trees and flowers so that the town is prettier." | |

| OK, random question...
I'm going to assume you're not using this in a formal setting and only to one person.
Bises-tu ton chat?
Bises rhymes with fleece (the s at the end is silent) and chat is pronounced sha (a silent t) and means cat because they don't really talk about animals like we do in the anglophone world.

I've pronounciations in \s. Make sure to nasalise your n's as well otherwise you'll sound very unfrench. And roll the r's in the back of your throat to make a kind of phlegmy sound if you can. And I explained how much french I speak to mewtwo so scrollez-vous! But I'm classed as bilingual now by the British government.

Hmm. I like chicken = j'adore le poulet \zhador luh poolay\ Fried chicken = poulet frite \poolay freet\ I don't know what toasted chicken is in English... Burnt chicken = poulet brulé \poolay broolay\ Chicken fat = les matieres grasses des poulets \lay mateeair grass day poolay\ They don't barbecue things in France... Well, they don'y have a specific word for it but cuit \kwee\ would be cooked. And chicken if you hadn't guessed is poulet.

| I know, I want some proper sentences to translate. Vraiment? C'est chez toi? Alors, J'irai au Canada avec une couchette pour que je puisse prendre ta tete et le donner a un chien. Ou, tu pourrais me renvoyer mon poulet. C'est a toi.Btw, it should be ma maison, je n'en mange pas (because je ne mange pas just means you don't eat) and because is spelt parce que. | |
